Doug Levy / imc² chief executive officer
Focused on the agency’s vision, clarity of thinking and personal leadership of imc²’s purpose discovery work with clients, Doug is a self-proclaimed “stubborn optimist.” He firmly believes that business can be profitable while also making a meaningful contribution to the world.
Since starting imc² in 1995, Doug has maintained an independent and profoundly progressive company, while organically growing the agency to serve some of the world’s most well-known brands.
It's no secret that being the founder and chief executive officer of a groundbreaking marketing agency requires brains, vision and dedication. It also takes a burning desire to never stop learning, and Doug has that in spades. His insatiable curiosity gives him unique perspectives that allow him to lead the company with a more compelling and inspiring vision. That vision? To show our clients and the world that marketing can be both highly effective and intensely meaningful.
To bring the vision to life, Doug focuses on evolving the company to make certain imc² is providing the best services and most positive results to its clients. He and his team have worked with clients such as Procter & Gamble, The Coca-Cola Company, Pizza Hut, Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline to redefine what marketing means. Under his leadership, imc² has won accolades for its strategy, for its creative and technology work and for making a positive impact on our world.
Before founding imc², Doug proved himself to be a highly successful entrepreneur. His venture to create an online information and resource tool for college students, called Internet University, caught the attention of ABC Sports. Before you could say "prodigy," Doug had developed the ABC Sports Monday Night Football website, added a host of major brands as clients and formed what is now imc². Prior to that, he started a discount textbook business called Campus Text at the University of Pennsylvania. A summa cum laude graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurial management and a Bachelor of Arts in urban policy. Doug lives in Dallas and enjoys spending time outdoors with his two daughters and co-leading a cycling team with his wife that has raised more than $1.3 million for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
