Chris Mycek / svp, marketing & development
Chris hasn’t yet met a challenge he didn’t like. In his role as svp, marketing & development, Chris ensures that clients and prospective clients understand how they can gain the most value when engaging imc². Whether in his professional role or staring down the face of a double black diamond ski run, Chris takes challenges head on – typically with fantastic results.
With more than two decades of marketing & development experience client side, agency side and publisher side, Chris has a uniquely well-rounded understanding of the marketing realm. His experience includes roles at Johnson & Johnson, as well as management and executive roles at Digitas Health and Revolution Health.
Chris’ uncanny knack for uncovering opportunities and building relationships with clients fosters enduring bonds between the agency and our partners. Chris Mycek, imc²'s svp, marketing & development, isn't just interested in adventure. He embodies it. An avid skier, Chris and his family hit the slopes at least 30 times a year. When warmer weather arrives, you're likely to find him taking in some fresh air from his motorcycle. He's trekked over 100,000 miles in the past 20 years!
Chris' adventurous spirit has led him through an already storied career that began with 10 years in sales management at Johnson & Johnson, where his team regularly ranked among the top 10 percent. His experience eventually led him to Medical Broadcasting Company/Digitas Health, where he climbed the ranks to senior vice president, strategy & development, working with many of the top pharmaceutical and consumer products brands. Following his entrepreneurial passion for e-marketing and emerging channels, Chris helped launch Steve Case's start-up Revolution Health in 2006 as vice president, strategy.
Since joining imc², Chris has taken on roles of expanding responsibility. Initially, he led our health & wellness practice, but quickly took on additional responsibility as managing director of the Philadelphia office. Soon after, Chris took responsibility for all Northeast operations, including imc²’s New York City office. Now, as senior vice president, marketing & development, Chris works with many of our executive clients and prospective clients to achieve maximum benefit from their partnership with imc² and adapt to the rapidly changing marketing landscape.
His professional life has led him in many directions, but even an adventurer like Chris acknowledges that at the end of the day, he's a family man first. Most of his activities outside of work revolve around his three kids, Hunter and twins Emily and Spencer.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.
